Climate Diversity:

The USA is the only country which has all of Earth’s five climate zones. I,e. tropical, dry, temperate, continental, and polar. The USA being a huge country, is home to a wide variety of climates. However, in general it has a continental climate, with cold winters and also hot summers which sometimes is very hot. The weather is different in different season duration depending on latitude and distance from the sea.

The largest body of fresh water:

Lake Superior is the largest of the lakes in North America and is the world’s largest freshwater lake by surface area. This is also the third-largest freshwater lake by volume. It is shared by Ontario to the north, Minnesota to the west, and Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to the south.

The center for music:

Believe it or not! much of the music the world listens to – jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, hip-hop, country, folk, R&B, soul, and gospel – comes out of the United States of America!

The World of Hollywood!

The USA Flag:

Since the founding of the United State, there have been 27 versions of the American flag. Each new flag represented the addition of new states. Today, the American flag displays 50 stars that represent the 50 states that make up the US.

New York City was New Amsterdam:

New York was called as “New York” in the 17th Century. It was earlier called as New Amsterdam as a settlement by the Dutch that chose to settle in Manhattan. The Name, New York was to pay tribute to Duke of York who helped in capturing it. The New York city was also once the capital of the United States of America.

The Statue of Liberty was from France:

The Statue of Liberty was actually a gift from the people of France to the United States in 1886. Possibly, the most iconic symbol of the United States of America, the Statue of Liberty is one iconic piece of history you have to see when in New York.

As a return gift, the US then decided to give the French a slightly smaller Statue of Liberty three years later. This can now be seen proudly standing at Pont de Grenelle in Paris. Maybe the American version talks with a New Yorker twang? Who knows!

Las Vegas is one of the cities which people would like to explore when traveled to the United States of America. Las Vegas, Nevada is the 28th-most populated city in the United States and is the most populous city in Nevada. This famous city is renowned for its nightlife, entertainment, gambling, shopping, and fine dining. Las Vegas has the largest strip of casinos which has earned this city the Gambling Capital of the World title.

The city is also famous for its mega casino-hotels which has also earned Las Vegas the title of Entertainment Capital of the World. Further, Las Vegas is one of the world’s most visited tourist destinations as well as one of the top destinations for business conventions in the United States.
